The collection "Elderly gems" is about dignified old age. Dignity refers to an individual maintaining self-respect and being valued by others. However, for the elderly, dignity is almost equal to the quality of life in old age. To experience well-being means living under secure conditions and having an active and meaningful life with others. Human life is so short that we don't have time to look around as our best years pass and old age comes. My imagination envisions it similar to the one in this artificial photosession, where only wrinkles betray one's true age.
